Structural

Entry level engineers participate in various aspects of MLEA projects interfacing with our technical leads and mentors (designers, senior engineers, and project managers) who will guide them in building real-world technical skills. Entry level engineers will receive a well-rounded experience in various areas including, but not limited to utilization of CAE software for structural analysis, CAD software, development of project deliverables, constructability methods, and interface with field construction managers. As a small business, entry level engineers have exposure and direct communication with the company owners.

The position is full-time, i.e., 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate highly recommended and required for advancement
• Prior internship or relevant work experience helpful
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Detail oriented
• Strong problem solving/decision making skills
• Ability to gather and analyze data
• CAD experience (AUTOCAD) is helpful
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize workload, self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
• Ability to work with all levels of employees and management
• Willingness to periodically travel to job sites for short durations

Electrical

MLEA is seeking an entry level electrical engineer to work on power distribution systems design for heavy industry. Entry level engineers (0-5 years) participate in various aspects of MLEA projects interfacing with our technical leads and mentors (designers, senior engineers, field construction managers, and project managers) who will guide them in building real-world technical skills. Entry level engineers will receive a well-rounded experience in various areas including, but not limited to utilization of CAE software for electrical analysis, CAD software, development of project deliverables, constructability methods, and interface with field construction personnel. As a small business, entry level engineers have exposure and direct communication with the company owners.

The position is in-person full-time, i.e., 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate highly recommended and required for advancement
• Prior internship or relevant work experience helpful
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Detail oriented
• Strong problem solving/decision making skills
• Ability to gather and analyze data
• CAD experience (AutoCAD®) is helpful
• Proficiency in Microsoft® Office
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize workload, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
• Ability to meet and work with clients as required
• Willingness to occasionally travel to job sites for short durations
